Jenn Correll - Veterinary Nurse
Jenn grew up in Parma Idaho and currently lives in Nampa with her husband Nik, and their new baby Leah, who was born in April 2010. They also have two furry daughters Lola May (white Old English Bulldog) and Daisy Dean (white and brindle Old English Bulldog). Jenn has always been interested in the medical field, both human and animal. She obtained her Nursing Assistant Certification in 2005, but her love of animals brought her to River City in December 2008. She enjoys skiing up at Brundage Mountain, as well as baking, taking walks with the "kids", and being with friends and family.
Kelly Exon - Veterinary Nurse
Kelly has been with River City Vet since October of 2008. Her love for animals encouraged her to obtain her bachelors degree in biology at Boise State University, where she graduated in 2006. Kelly is a Boise native and currently lives with her husband, two cats, and a dog. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with family, watching football (Go Broncos!), traveling or reading a good book.
Shani Hudspeth - Receptionist
Shani grew up on a farm in Murtaugh, Idaho with lots of animals. She came to the big city of Boise and met her husband Joel. They have two daughters Izzy (born in 2007) and Madi (born in 2009). She also has a cat Harley & a rabbit Flop. When she is not working, she loves camping, fishing, and hanging out with her family and friends.
Kim Kelpin - Groomer
Kim was born and raised in Canyon County and began working part-time at a veterinary office while still in high school. She began her career in grooming animals in 2006, and in 2007 completed a nationally recognized apprenticeship certification through one of the largest national pet retailers in the U.S. Kim has experience grooming a variety of large and small breed dogs, cats and an occasional rabbit, ferret or guinea pig. She has enjoyed working at River City Vet since 2008. Her hobbies include making jewelry, playing tennis, camping, and taking care of her French Bulldog (Tater), cats (Indie and Anna) and turtle (Alberta). She and her husband, Chase, were married in August of 2010.
Korie Chaney - Veterinary Nurse
Korie was born and raised in the Boise area and loves spending time outdoors. Moved by her love of animals she has pursued a career in veterinary medicine. When she's not working you will most likely find her in the foothills hiking or on the green belt. She hopes to always continue growing in her knowledge and experience in the veterinary world.
Melissa Anderson - Veterinary Nurse
Melissa has spent her entire life around animals. Growing up on a small farm in Indiana gave her a solid foundation for animal care. She began her medical training in the Air Force as a Medical Assistant. She moved to Boise in 2005 after spending 10 years in Texas. She has continued to work with animals in need of help, including Foundation for North American Wild Sheep, the Meridian Animal Shelter and National Brittney Rescue and Adoption Network. She recently graduated from Brown Mackie College with an Associates of Applied Science, Veterinary Technology. On her days off she enjoys spending time in the outdoors with her husband, 10-year old daughter, and two dogs.

Javiera is a student at Eagle High School that has always had a passion for animals. Born in Chile, she has lived there and in California, and now lives in Eagle, Idaho with her parents and their two dogs and three cats. She loves spending time with her friends and family, volunteering at the Idaho Humane Society and going to concerts. She hopes to one day study veterinary medicine and be a veterinarian.
Jessica Johnson - Veterinary Nurse
Jessica was born and raised in Rapid City, South Dakota. After earning her BA in Special Education from the University of Wyoming, Jessica moved to Boise with her husband, Scott. Jessica?s love for animals brought her to River City Veterinary Hospital and she enjoys having the opportunity to help patients and their families. When she is not working she enjoys caring for her dogs (Moose, Molly, and Everest), her rabbits (Louie, Bentley, Havana, Copeland, Gershwin, Lola, and O?Keefe), and her guinea pig (Snickers). In her free time she likes to spin and dye yarn and knit sweaters for her family (those with two legs and those with four).
